Southside U18s are looking for new players
Southside U18s are currently looking for new players to join the squad
for
2009/10 season. We are looking at all positions and would like to
increase the squad by 4 or 5 players. if you are interested please ring or

Southside teams are a 'sporting' bunch
Congratulations to the following
Southside teams and their managers who won Sportsmanship trophies
from the Cheltenham Youth League - Southside Tigers U9, Southside U12
and Southside Athletic U15.
Thank you to everyone who donated Tesco vouchers for schools and clubs
Southside have exchanged their vouchers for sport
equipment for the club. Many thanks to everyone who collected them.

Congratulations to Southside U13s for retaining the C&G League Cup:
Southside U13s have brought home
the C&G League Cup for the 2nd year running with a 3-1 victory
against Cheltenham Saracens U13 at Whaddon Road on Sun 26th April 2009.
Well done to the players and team officials and a special thank you to
all the supporters.

As a non profit making
organisation, donations from external sources are an essential way to
keep Southside fully functioning. We
use donations help
finance various kit purchases and equipment and also enable us to host
our annual tournament and presentation night. If you are interested in
becoming a sponsor then please get in contact with anyone of

who will be happy to explain more about our club.
Season 08/09
The
new season has started with a splash rather than a bang this
year
with some games already being rearranged due to the heavy rain.
Season 08/09 sees Southside with a continued strong presence in the Cheltenham
Youth Football League with a team
in every age group. The Southside Girls team has moved to the Bristol
Girls League and the Adult team has been promoted to Div 4 of
the Cheltenham League. We are greatful for
the support of parents,
managers
and officials, who give up their time to promote football for
all.
This will ensure that the players will get the maximum
possible
enjoyment out of their game in this season as they have done in
previous seasons.
Its pre-league football
setup welcomes new players from ages 5-8.
