After a new start
for the team in 2007/08 we finished the under U12's league in 4th
place, our best result in the league so far. We also won the U12 League
Cup Final at Whaddon Road on penalties after a thrilling 1-1 draw
against Gotherington Juniors, a team we had never previously beaten in
any competition. We also had league wins against Saracens and
Swindon Village, we had never beaten these teams before in the league.
We start this season
having lost three of our squad from last season, but have recruited
three new players who will fit comfortably into our squad. We are
looking forward to trying to match last year's league performance and
who knows, maybe another cup final.
